visittenterfield

When we were at the Information Centre the man said if we could prove we made it to the top we should come back and he would provide us with documentation to prove that we really did indeed climb the rock - official proof. Photos of that proof to come. #tenterfield #tenterfieldnsw #discovertenterfield #visittenterfield #granitebelt #southerndownsandgranitebelt #theoldbuggarsdo #destinationtenterfield #granitebeltwinecountry #baldrock #baldrocknationalpark #whingedeverystepoftheway #awesomeviews #youcanseeforever #missionaccomplished #success #fariqthetravellingfrog #murtletheturtle

Less scary having been up that way twice yesterday, but didn't look good the last time I was there seeing the dots just going to the edge into the clouds... lol

This guy is only made of wood, so can shove it in my backpack, but I don't have to worry about their kids or other plans, he's just there with me 😆🤔.

I think the centrepiece of Tenterfield, is it’s Post Office built in 1881. A classic building featuring Italianate facade, clock tower and mansard roof. At the corner is a sandstone obelisk, built by the residents of Tenterfield in 1894, in memory of Edward Reeves Whereat, who gave up his seat for Sir Henry Parkes, considered to be the ‘father of Australia’s Federation’ in 1901 #historylesson #yourewelcome #tenterfield #postoffice #obelisk #newenglandhighcountry #mainstreet #visittenterfield
