I can spend 3 hours in the gym and truly enjoy every second. But I LOVE all junk food- ice cream, cheetos, sour gummy candy, chocolate, etc. I have learned that I have no will power when it comes to controlling how much junk I eat. My previous idea of “being fit” was being able to eat whatever I wanted and then working it off in the gym which proved to be incredibly inefficient - a pint of ice cream takes me about 15min to devour 1200 calories; that would require a couple hours in the gym to burn off. You would think being in the medical field, I’d know what I should be eating...but it’s not easy to practice what you preach. What has helped me the most with this aspect of fitness is having coaches - @coach.hassan designs my workouts and @tripples_fitness my meal plans- and they work as a team. Depending on your fitness goals, you need your workouts and nutrition CUSTOMIZED to make achieving those goals realistic. Some people are fueled better off of carbs, some people from fat. Until you experiment with it, track your progress closely, stick with the plan for a month at a time... you won’t know what your body responds best to. I’ve even foam rolled a few times, which is huge for me because I never foam roll/streach, and they are still sore😅 So today, we took it a little easier. Lightened the weight a lil bit, butt still crushed da booty🍑 —————————————————— Don’t have any exciting plans for the weekend. Probably just going to chill with my fam and friends, and maybe soak up a little sunshine☀️ but whether you have plans or nah, I hope you all have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend😊
