Y’all!! Today was the best Monday I’ve had in a long time. Well for my workouts anyway. Work was another story, but I was able to go to the gym and work off the Work frustrations!! With my niece being found, I just felt a huge weight lifted. I really felt like I had a fresh start and new beginning. Like I was allowed to shed that weight of worry for the unknown. I did try to keep those thoughts to a minimum. In honor of new beginnings and a worry free week, I decided to add push ups to my routine. Yay! Push ups! I love push ups so much I want to do them everyday...Yeah right. Just typing that made me ill!🤣 I don’t understand it, but I’m determined to make them a part of my routine. Why? Because if there is a weakness somewhere within me (physical or mental) I must confront it in order to become better. There are times when we push things aside or avoid things because they make us uncomfortable which allows us to remain the same. We all know there is nothing comfortable about obtaining a healthier lifestyle, but if we commit to conquer the hard stuff first (whatever that may be for you) it will open up a new belief system that nothing is impossible and that we can do anything we put our mind/body to. As long as we remain determined and dedicated! Even if it means doing push-ups until we are no longer fatigued by the sound of the word!🤣 . .
